The next board meeting for Seattle School of Aikido is scheduled for Tuesday, December 5th at 8PM at the dojo. As a non-profit dojo, board meetings are open to all members (including our awesome parents!). We will be looking at our finances in particular at this meeting and evaluating a likely dues increase to begin in 2018. Feel free to join us for Budo Tanren/Icho ryu from 6-8PM before the meeting if you’d like to get a workout in beforehand.
John Peng will be practicing QiGong Monday and Wednesdays nights, 6pm-6:25pm. Free to all dojo members. $5/class or $20/month for non-members (first class to try it is free). No experience necessary.
John is not a QiGong expert, but is student of QiGong, as learned from Jan Nevelius Shihan. John will be sharing his experiences and practice with the dojo and community at large.
There is no falling, no partner contact, and it is very gentle easy on the joints and body.
Please come and experience these QiGong breathing and mindfulness exercises in our dojo.
Hope to see you on the mat.
As a reminder, the dojo will be closed starting Friday 2:30pm through Sunday 2:30pm. Apologies for all that are inconvenienced, our mats are being used at the Jan Nevelius Shihan seminar at Seattle Central College Friday through Sunday. Classes will resume as usual on Monday. Thank you for your cooperation and support. – John
